1. The INMCC website is launched on 15th  August 2006, by Director, ISTRAC. The website is available at http://inmcc.istrac.org. Users can now register their beacons online. For details, please see Registration section on the website and join as registered users. More

2. INMCC alert information assisted in Rescue of 30 crew members from Panama vessel which lost communication and navigation systems due to fire, and was drifting. The distress signal detected by the Cospas-Sarsat satellites from the vessel’s radio beacon was the only information to reach the distressed vessel and rescue the crew. Detailed report is enclosed. 3. Web based Registration of beacons (ELT/EPIRB/PLB) is available to users on the INMCC website. Users are requested to make use of this facility for registration and updating their company beacons.
