Beacon Registration Agreement
You must agree to the following statements before entering or modifying any Beacon Registration Database Registration Record.
- The information you furnish is critical to your safety and is intended to assist search and rescue teams in locating your craft in emergency. This information will be provided to national and international SAR authorities in the event of beacon activation. It is of great benefit to SAR forces in responding to beacon activations and significantly reduces their response time.
- Although the information provided will become a matter of public record, there is no intent to circulate the data furnished beyond its intended purpose i.e. for carrying out SAR mission and for use by the designated national authorities.
- The data will be maintained in National database at INMCC as well as uploaded on International Beacon Registration Database (IBRD) for access by international SAR authorities.
- After registration at INMCC, you will receive confirmation of registration by email only, which could be used as proof of registration for inspection authorities.
- INMCC is neither responsible nor liable for the accuracy of the data in the database. The data provider is solely responsible for the accuracy all the information entered into the database. INMCC will not be responsible for unauthorized access or unauthorized changes to beacon registration data that may result from malicious activities. INMCC will, on best efforts basis, implement measures to protect the integrity of the data, however, INMCC does not guarantee that beacon registration information will not be changed, corrupted or lost.
- INMCC accepts no liability for the loss of life or property that may result from inaccurate or incomplete data.
